France, here I come!

Moi, je me regale!
Hello family!
I hope that your summer is going well. I'm having a great time! Between taking morning walks in the park, going to the pool in the afternoon and taking baths in the evening, time is flying!

1er bain a la piscine du JCC
1st time swimming in the pool at the JCC

Coming out of the bath at home.

1ere fois a la balancoire
1st time on the swing at the park.

But don't think that I'm spending my time relaxing in the sun. Daddy and Mommy make me work hard every day. Right now I'm learning how to roll on my side and to sit up. It's difficult but fun, as you can see in this little video.

All of this is good and well but I was promised that I'd get a chance to see my mother country (or rather my "father land!") Daddy told me that we couldn't leave for France right away because he had to find a new job after his position was eliminated by the school district. He applied for jobs all over the city and had a bunch of interviews to find a new Math teaching position. After all that, his old school's going to rehire him. But this time for another position (8th grade instead of 7th grade). Go figure! Daddy told me that Americans are a bit crazy but I can't really comment since I received my very first passport this week... :-)

Now, everything is ready so that I can finally cross the Atlantic and meet the rest of the family. I can't wait to give you all great big hugs. See you on July 21st at 5:09 p.m. at the Avignon train station.

Love,
Noah Lucien Bertrand
